I will go to turkey in October and wish to stay in Bursa after arriving in Istanbul. However, it appears that it is not worth visiting as compared to other cities. Perhaps I may need to consider other alternative in the vicinity of Istanbul.

Just back from Turkey. Thanks to your website and the information. It helps us a lot.
I have a 16-day trip in Turkey in late June and early July and went to Cappadocia, Mount Nemrut, Bodrum, Selcuk, Instanbul, and two Greek islands. Among all these, I love Cappadocia most, incl the scenery, weather, people and hotel there. It's a real beat!

內陸機應是同一機場，但可能會不同大樓。可到我「旅遊心得」中的首個英文相關連結找找詳情。
我覺得是安全的，但一個女仔應盡量避免跟陌生男子獨處和僻靜的地方。

以色列？我也很有興趣，我上次旅行也有考慮過到約旦兼遊以色列，不過最後去了東歐。要留意如果你的護照有以色列出入境印，以後將很難進入一些回教國家 (我不知土耳其會否有問題)。

我住的都是單人間，床位在 Sultanahmet 都要 HK$60 左右，再便宜些我想可試試較遠離市中心但近電車站的旅館。普遍土耳其的消費都不算太便宜，半個歐洲國家嘛！
門票已沒有學生票之分，我想國際青年咭也一樣，某些旅館可便宜些便不知了。
我較多在找換店換錢，匯率跟銀行分別不大。

中東地區有些男子會對單身女子搭訕甚至示愛求婚，應決絕地拒絕他們。據說當地人看見男女單獨約會，就算發生事也只會以為他們在「耍花槍」而不會幫忙。
話雖如此，我遇見的土耳其人大都極友好，相信以上只是極少數，小心為上便成。

BIG NEWS
A few "big things" have happened here that will be of interest.
In 2004, we had 2 buildings, but we have now moved away from our original Artemis Guest House (as shown on the website) to the "other" building.
So, having only just moved, the new hotel is not shown on our web site, but we will be changing that oon?
Be assured that the new hotel is much better than the original - most comfortable and ar better?SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> is the unanimous consensus.
Features include
Air conditioning option in 80% of rooms (16 C to 30 C)
Elevator
Great elevated view of the Byzantine castle and mosque domes, plus an open fire in its Turkish cushion corner.
Compared with the original building, it is equal distance from the town's amenities but is closer to the bus station (now only 2 minutes easy walk).
Our restaurant, offering a popular, large a la carte menu at normal local prices.
Being "off" main roads and double-glazed, the "new" building is even quieter.
Our guests who stayed here last year and this winter were very satisfied. In fact, a retired couple who travel constantly said (even before the renovations) that the new building was the best budget accommodation they had ever seen - in all their travels !
The guide books have been suitably impressed & it is in the new Lonely Planet coming out in March and also the new Rough Guide Europe as well ...
Of course, all the facilities and services we provide continue.
We have loads of games & magazines to occupy your "indoor time": films, plus the comprehensive travel library (which is now has almost 3 times the content of the picture on the web site !)
Please note the hotel right next to the pool is permanently closed.
We have moved to the new site entirely.
The pool remains ours ?separated from the old building now and a mere 2 minute walk to use it.
This remains the best swimming arrangement for a budget traveller in the town.
I am sure you will be most comfortable here - even more than you were expecting.

This area is fabulously rich in important & interesting sites, such that the average stay here is 3 nights.

我在03年8月到過土耳其，介紹一個地方給大家，那是PRINCE 's ISLAND。
在EMINONU在火車站附近的碼頭坐船 約 1.5 小時. (可參考Lonely Planet) 這個地方似長洲，從前不准汽車行走，只准馬車行走。雖然現在見到汽車，幸好數輛不多。
此外喜歡釣魚的朋友可以在EMINONU附近的碼頭垂釣，我試過在此消磨了3個鈡，但食白果。釣上來的魚是沙甸魚，亦即在碼頭售賣的魚包。
